Save The Date - How to include your pet cat?

This Digital Save The Date was incredibly special. Every aspect of it was artistically envisioned to represent the couple – where they come from, how they met, what they love. It truly tells a story about who Avika and Abhi are. Those who know them, will see a little of them in each element of this watercolor creation.

Jaipur was chosen as the backdrop to capture the roots of the Groom - Abhi. Jaipur is a city in India known for its royal charm and towering forts and palaces. It is also known as the Pink City. Naturally, we chose the Pink Mahal to incorporate the essence of Jaipur. The night sky in Jaipur is a sight to behold. The unravelling beauty of every magical starlit night sets the tone for the details of this Save the Date – Almost like it was Written in the Stars.

The Bride (Avika) is from New York – a city of diversity and dynamism. What screams New York more than the yellow taxi in all its glory. Avika also has an adorable pet cat – without whom the Save the Date would not have been complete. She is a coder by profession and this detail was incorporated in the books laid on the Jaipur Palatial Artwork. 

Avika and Abhi love the acacia flower that symbolizes integrity, regeneration and perseverance. These gorgeous watercolor illustrations brought the whole Save the Date to life.
