9-12 months before: SAMPLES

Order sample packs so you can get the feel of papers and print types. You can choose your theme and colour palette from these.

6-9 months before:  SAVE THE DATE

Save the Date is the first order of business. You have to have your date, guest list and a vague location or city finalised. It is a practical way to have your guests add your wedding date to their diary.  If you’re having a destination wedding, it is important to allow your guests to make travel and accommodation arrangements.

6 months out: ORDER WEDDING INVIATIONS AND INSERTS

Order your custom wedding invitations – ESSENTIAL for your wedding day. This will include invitation inserts like RSVP cards with a pre-posted envelope, wedding website details, gift information, hotel room blocks or accommodation and travel, pre and post wedding events like rehearsal dinner details.

2-4 months before: SEND OUT WEDDING INVITATIONS

The wedding is approaching and it’s time to put your invitations in the post box! It is never to early to send your invitations. 2 to 4 months give your guests enough time to RSVP and get all the information they need well in advance.

2 months out – ORDER OTHER WEDDING STATIONERY

Coordinated wedding stationery creates a real wow factor. Order programs and other ceremony stationery like welcome bags, menu cards, table numbers, favors, order of service booklets, place cards, signage, menus, napkins, etc. with the same design and typography. The décor elements like the seating chart display wall, bar and decorative signage will only add to the aesthetics.

1 month before – RSVP DEADLINE

Your RSVP date should be set to at least 4 weeks before the wedding to give your vendors a final head count and create a seating chart. This will also give you enough time to get in touch with guests who haven’t replied.

1 to 3 months or after the honeymoon: THANK YOU CARDS

The Final element in your wedding stationery to-do list is your Thank-You Cards!

These are sent to show your guests how much you appreciated their presence and kind gifts. They are also used to thank the bridal party and other important people who played a role in hosting the wedding of your dreams!
