There is nothing quite like the magical sunsets of Arizona. The brilliant hues of pink, purple and orange splashed across the sky will leave you enamoured. Naturally, we had to capture this vibrant glow of the horizon on the envelope liner. It is all Arizona – its breathtakingly beautiful sunsets, the Grand Canyon and saguaro cactus. This gigantic cactus represents the Sonoran Desert and is almost tree-like.

The Mehendi Night in Indian culture is about wishing the bride well and blessing her marriage. Mehendi is believed to represent the holy bond of matrimony and signifies the love, compassion and affection between the couple and their families. We decided to incorporate Jharokhas – a type of enclosed balcony in Indian architecture depicting India’s Socio-Cultural Heritage in the Mehendi Night Insert. The Jharokas were set with the Arizona Starlit Night as its backdrop to resemble a perfect fusion of the two lands. The Kaleeras (kalira / Kalire) - gold, umbrella shaped ornaments attached to the Bride’s Chooda / bangle -signifying happiness and eternal love between the newlyweds was printed in gold foil to add a touch of opulence.

The ceremony insert included a Doli – a ceremonial send off by the bride’s family. In Indian culture, the bride bids her family and friends farewell and is carried to her new home. This insert is set in the Arizona Sunset Shades to bring it to life. The gold foil printing is just what was needed to bring this insert together beautifully.

Inspired by Diwali – the Indian Festival of light – the grand chandeliers were added to the reception insert to light the couple’s way. The dainty flowers are elegantly set in splashes of watercolor to once again represent Arizona as the backdrop for this gorgeous Indian Wedding.

Every aspect of this invitation was thoughtfully envisioned to show the couples Indian routes in an Arizona Themed Wedding.
