At VS Invitations, we believe that every wedding invitation suite tells a story. We’re excited to share Aditi and Avirat’s beautiful beach wedding invitations, designed to transport guests to a sun-drenched ceremony by the shore.
Sunsets and Seashells: The Inspiration Behind the Design
When Aditi and Avirat came to VS Invitations with their vision of a beach wedding, we knew we had to create something truly special. The couple envisioned a suite that captured the essence of their seaside celebration, infusing it with a touch of elegance and whimsy.
A Splash of Watercolor
We began by crafting a custom watercolor floral illustration that adorned the envelope liner. The design echoed the soft hues of the beach at sunset, setting the tone for the invitation to come. A classic navy blue envelope completed the look, adding a touch of sophistication.
Making Waves
The real showstopper of the suite was the invitation itself. We die-cut the invitation into three panels, each resembling a gentle ocean wave. The two outer waves were crafted from a luxurious textured paper in shades of blue and green, creating a sense of depth and dimension.
A Sun Sets on the Horizon
The center panel, cut from a soft peach paper, featured the wedding details in screen printed matte gold. When the invitation was folded closed, the two outer waves embraced the center panel, creating the illusion of a sun setting on the horizon. It was a truly unique and unforgettable way to present the wedding information.
Beyond the Invitation
Our services went beyond just the invitations. We also designed a cohesive suite of wedding stationery that included signage, custom printed napkins, wooden stirrers, place cards, coasters, petal holders, jute bags with personalised monogram. Each piece incorporated the same beachy theme and watercolor motifs, ensuring that every detail of the wedding reflected Aditi and Avirat’s vision.
