Aditi and Akshay’s wedding was scheduled in May 2020 but was postponed to 2021 when the crippling news of COVID and lockdowns were spread across the world. Aditi wanted her invitations to be simple and modern. All she told me was that her wedding theme colors were dusty blue and peach. She mentioned she had peonies in the wedding decor.

Aditi quickly delegated the responsibility of creating invitations to resemble her wedding colors and venue. We decided to use a custom painted outline of the Golden Gate Bridge on the envelope liner to signify San Francisco wedding. We also used the flower motif from her Sabysachi lehenga on the vellum wrap in silver foil. All in all, we used the most special elements throughout the wedding invitations.
