Shruti and Amaresh’s wedding was at Laguna Cliffs Marriot, California. This beach-chic hotel has awe-inspiring views of the Pacific Ocean and became the central theme of their wedding invitation.  

The bride - Shruti - wanted to capture California beaches and sunshine in her wedding card. She also wanted poppy flowers, known to bloom in California around the same time as the  wedding. Shruti also wanted to add an Indian touch to her invitation so we used all the American elements she described and added a personal Indian twist to each insert. 

The wedding insert included sunshine and the right vantage point of the crystal blue waters along the beautiful beach. We made the sun rays wavey to add an Indian design element. This became the perfect backdrop of the invite.

The signature Palm trees that reach high above the Pacific Ocean, on the edge of the cliff had to be captured. For the reception, we added Indian decor lamps tied to a string, hanging them on these palm trees. 

For the sangeet insert, we added the umbrellas and palm trees on the laguna beach. The umbrellas of course had to have Rajasthani design to add Indian flavour. The guests would be able to soak in the true essence of the scenery through this insert.

The envelope and insert holder included the beautiful poppy flowers in water colours to bring the tropical themed wedding invite together in a wholesome manner. That’s how we mixed American and Indian elements
